Install the private workspace safely

The existing public-shell-only cache policy is unchanged. Documentation imports do not enable private offline content.

Steps

Use a supported browser on localhost for development or HTTPS for hosting. Open the app and use the browser's install/Add to Home Screen controls; Chromium may also expose the application install button.

offline: generic non-sensitive connection screen only
online: session + current permissions → private document or answer

The service worker caches only a closed list of UI assets and the generic offline page. Articles, search, auth, questions, answers, identities, and API responses are never placed in its cache. No offline framework reader is shipped.

Verify

Inspect the service-worker cache, go offline, sign out, and switch accounts. Test physical iOS/Android installation before mobile rollout; desktop emulation cannot prove device behavior.
